so that和such that的区别，用法

1.such最终要修饰名词，so 最终要修饰形容词。
由so与such的不同词性决定。“such 是形容词”，修饰名词或名词词组，“so是副词”，只能修饰形容词或副词。

2.such--that ,so--that 意思“如此~~~以致~~”。
在保证语法前提（1中提到的）下，用两种结构中的那一个都是可取的。

总结如下
a.so+adj./adv+that
He worked so hard that he got ill.
他工作那么努力，结果病倒了。

b.such +a(n)+(adj)+n.+that
She is such a good teacher that we all like her.
她是那么好的一位老师，我们大家都喜欢她。

c. so+adj+a(n)+n.
She is so good a teacher that we all like her.
她是那么好的一位老师，我们大家都喜欢她。

d.such+(adj)+n.(复数或不可数）+that
They are such interesting books that I want to read them once more.
这些书非常有趣，我想再读一遍。
It was such bad weather that I had to stay at home.
天气太坏，以致我不得不呆在家里。

e.so+many/much/little/few(表示数量）+n.(复数）
There were so many people in the street watching the fire that firefighters could not get close to the building.
街上围观大火的人太多了，消防队员无法靠近大楼。
There are so few mistakes in his composition that the teacher praised him_
他的作文错误很少，老师表扬了他。

记住这5条就可以了

区别：
1、so…that这一结构中，so后边可加形容词或副词
so＋adj.／adv.＋that…clause（so的后面跟形容词或副词）
He runs so fast that nobody can catch up with him_
他跑得非常快，没人能追上他。
Dr. Wang is so good that everybody loves and respects him_ (=He is so good a doctor that
everybody loves and respects him_ =He is such a good doctor that everybody loves and respects him_)
他是一位好医生，大家都尊敬并爱戴他。

2、such后边要用名词（这个名词前面可以带形容词，也可以不带）。
1)such＋a(an)＋adj.＋单数可数名词＋that…clause
He is such a clever boy that everybody likes him_
他非常聪明，大家都非常喜欢他。
He was such an honest man that he was praised by the teacher.
他非常诚实，因而受到了老师的表扬。
2)such＋adj.＋复数可数名词＋that…clause
They are such interesting novels that I want to read them once again.
这些小说非常有趣，我想再读一遍。
3)such＋adj.＋不可数名词＋that…clause
He has made such great progress that the teachers are pleased with him_
他进步得很快，老师们对他感到很满意。
